Duct maintenance is important for the life and quality of your HVAC system. As the system operates, forced air is pushed through. The forced air heats, cools and ventilates your home. Over time, the integrity of your system will depreciate; proper maintenance can slow down that depreciation. Extreme weather changes can cause further abuse to your HVAC system. Proper duct maintenance is important. Protect your investment.
Why Duct Maintenance Is Important
- Duct maintenance can extend the life of your system. Clean ducts allow for proper airflow, reducing the stress put upon the system.
- Clean ducts reduce the cost of running your HVAC system.
- Dirt accumulates in your ducts over time. Clean ducts allow for clean and healthy air throughout your home.
- High humidity and heat encourage mold growth within the HVAC system. Duct cleaning can remove those mold spores.
- Outdoor air pollution can infiltrate your home through the ducts of your system. Dirty air is a health hazard.
- If dust and dirt are allowed to remain in the ducts, buildup can clog the motor of your system. Clogged HVAC systems will not work properly.
